Kukicha Kabuse is a Karigane tea meaning that it consists of the stems and stalks that remain from Gyokuro tea production that are otherwise discarded. Kukicha Kabuse “twig tea” produces a unique and prized specialty Japanese tea. Gyokuro is a top-grade shade grown Japanese green tea that is sweet, mild and rich. Kukicha Kabuse is theanine-rich, aromatic and produces a liquor that is a beautiful shade of green; the flavor is uniquely sweet and delicate, without any astringency. Kukicha Kabuse is simple to brew, has a wide brewing spectrum with multiple infusions, and will brew well at many varying brewing temperatures. A highly recommend green tea!
